District receives award for financial reporting, bond rating upgraded four times in five years

Spring Lake Park School Schools is one of 20 school districts in Minnesota honored for excellence in financial reporting.  At the Sept. 9, 2008 School Board meeting, the district received the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Association of School Business Officials - International. The district is a multiple-winner of this award, most recently for it's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2007.   The district's bond rating has also been upgraded four times in five years.  Story here:  School District 16's bond rating upgraded 4th time in 5 years
