Discovery Days - For 4-year-olds

Discovery Days is our full-day child care program specially planned for children who are four-years-old by September 1 of the current school year. Our highly qualified staff works in concert with our Preschool teachers to enrich and reinforce skills being taught in the Learn & Play Preschool program.

Discovery Days is part of the Learning Ventures program and follows the school-year calendar. We’re open for most days school is closed – just like Learning Ventures. On School Release Days, Discovery Days children will go on any age-appropriate field trips and participate in every special event planned at no extra cost.

Children receive a breakfast, a hot lunch, and an afternoon snack every day. Parents have the option of registering for 3-5 days a week or for Drop-in Care.  Discovery Days children may continue in the Summer Trek program before starting Kindergarten in the fall.

For 2011-12, Discovery Days is housed at both Woodcrest Elementary and Northpoint Elementary.  Both sites are open from 6:30 AM-6:00 PM.
